About Dr. JonesJennifer Jones, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in Colorado (PSY 5683) and California (19654). With over 23 years as a psychotherapist and more than 17 years as a psychologist, she is considered an expert in her field. She is the author of Transformational Parenting and Transformational Education, acclaimed books that educate parents and teachers on the prevention of childhood trauma. Dr. Jones's Whole School, Whole Child Program, provided for free to Colorado schools (www.ColoradoSEL.com) and extensively in California schools, has been shown to prevent and reduce bullying, anxiety and depression. Her integration of neuroscience with psychology is unique and provides her with an expansive set of interventions to help people develop into their best selves. She is trained in the most effective brain developing treatments such as Interpersonal Neurobiology, Neuropsychology, Neurofeedback, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Hypnosis, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Discipline Parent Education, Psychodynamic therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Her academic background includes training at the University of Oregon, California School of Professional Psychology, the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, St. John’s Hospital, and the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute.
